Approximately a year a go i decided that i wanted to create some extra living space in my home by converting the garage. I spent some time finding builders to come and advise me as to what the best way to do things would be and  for a quote on how much it would likely be. None were of any particular help and when it came to the quotes they were uncertain and only guessed at an estimate. After months of endless vague answers and discrepancies i had all but given up.

Then one day i was reading through our local link book i noticed an advert for The Northants Conversion Company LTD. I decided to ring them and ask them to come to the house and view the propossed work and give me a quote. When they came to view what needed to be done both Brad and Stuart were very helpful and professional.

Both were well organised and unlike previous builders, answered all my questions with straight and honest responses. They also advised me on the best way to do the conversion, which included turning our open porch way into an extra hallway. They both went through everything they were going to do and listed it within the quote. I changed my mind on several occasions and both Brad and Stuart were very patient and cooperative with my decisions. During this process i never once felt any pressure from them and accepted their quote.

When i had finally decided on what i wanted done they drew up the final quote and listed everything that was going to be done and a time scale of how long each job would take.

From the moment they started the work it was clear to see that they were clean and tidy in their work and cleared up every night after they finished. This professionalism continued with the other members of the company ( joiner, electrician,plumber and the plasterer ) all was friendly well mannered and helpful.

For anyone thinking of having a convesion I would recommend the Northants Conversion Comany LTD. They are friendly professional people and pleasure to have around.
